The colors are absolutely wonderful..
it's so lonely..
contemplative.
The boy's form reminds me a lot of Picasso's acrobats. (dammit . must. get. art history. out of head.)

I love how you have no idea where the road is leading, how it just goes off the page to the side. The sky is beautiful. And the person is fascinating. They're looking at the ground--it makes you wonder what they're thinking about. And how the body holds no relevence. I really like your use of color. It's actually very hard to tell what color this person is ... in the places that there actually is color. There's something very fullfilling about emptiness. This took skill. I am highly impressed.

Everything was beautiful and nothing hurt.
I'm not even sure that I need to keep mentioning how blown away I am by your technical skill- next to you I deserve to be on a street corner scratching out 50 cent stick figure portraits and fleeing with the money (forgive the self-flagellation, but it's true).
Particularly love the reds and whites.
My associations and philosophical tangents as brought on by the fading figure: it reminds me of those walks where you fall into some natural rhythm and then you start to slowly lose yourself- like you aren't aware that you exist, only that the earth is around you...
Allison, you have wonderful eyes to be able to see like this.
and very simple but in the best way possible... great gestures of motion, great perspective
